The NL498D2 is built for just these types
of rugged jobs. Built around a four cylinder,
202-cubic inch diesel, the NL498D2
provides the power to run worry free and
start electric motors with ease.
Direct injected with state-of-theart
combustion design, the NL498D2
meets USEPA Tier II emission
standards. This clean-burn
design cuts fuel use. At full load,
in fact, the NL498D2 uses only
2.8 gallons of diesel per hour. Smoke
and noise signatures are also signifi cantly
lowered.
The NL498D2 is equipped with a
ruggedly reliable generator end that
features an impressive 105OC temperature
rise and Class H insulation. It’s automatic
voltage regulator provides +/-1% AC
voltage regulation to protect your
electronics and help your electric motors
last longer.
Other features for long life and usability
abound: high air fl ow comes from a large
radiator with an easy access fi ll. A steel
shroud protects the radiator and operator.
Most services points are thoughtfully
aligned on a common side, to facilitate
standard maintenance and permit fl exibility
in installation.
The generator set is constructed onto a
steel base frame. Fuel lines are routed to
the base for easy installation, and vibration
isolation mounts provide for smooth and
quiet operation.
